“Ava is doing great! I'm building a fence in my back yard for her! Today we visited the vet and he said she is in excellent health! We take two one mile walks a day and she really enjoys them. We are signed up for obedience training on July 27 for 8 weeks. We have really bonded.”

“Just wanted to drop you a note and tell you I am doing great - except for the bath thing. Mom said clean sheets - clean dog and how dirty could I be? Anyway, all is good. Mom got me the most fantastic coat this winter and I don't ever want to take it off. She has to catch me first. I've pretty much got her and Aunt Sharry trained. They both do pretty much what I want. I just love to go riding in the car and Mom ordered me a car seat - can't wait to see how that goes. I have a boyfriend next door named Bailey. He is a black poodle about my size. I'm not sure he likes me as much as I like him.

That is the only "guy" I like. I chase the men when they come into my courtyard and I almost caught the cable guy. Mom says I have to work on my manners with them. She does say I mind really well except for that. Anyway, I just wanted to say "hi" and tell you about my wonderful home.. Thank you for finding my mom - she loves me alot.”

“Yesterday it took him a while to come up to me, almost like he still just wasn't sure of things, but today he almost seemed somewhat happy to see us when we got home. He even started playing with Baily a little running around the back yard this evening. It was really cute! His tail is up today when he walks around, and he seems like he is adjusting and getting a little more comfortable.

We try not to approach him too quickly as he seems to get scared, but he is happy to sit on my lap all night! We also took him on a neighborhood walk both last night and tonight and he seems to enjoy it aside from occasionally getting spooked by a noise. I am surprised about how well he walks on a leash.

Really, the whole family is happy he made his way to us!

“She is doing well. The first night was a bit rough; I don't think she knew what to make of everything, but she has definitely settled down. She and Godfrey have bonded- almost a little too well... it's like having twins. We've been keeping her pretty busy, but I notice when things quiet down she seems a little sad like she's missing you all.

She's already made lots of friends and is diligently taking notes on who lives in what houses. We're thrilled - we think we made a very good choice. Thank you!”

This photo is yesterday at the Millie Bush dogie park. She had a great time for a while, then she got sleepy and didn't want to do anything with any of the doggies there, so it was time to leave.

She is so cute. Goes to sleep into her crate on her own. Looks like she likes it. Good for me. She loves the backyard. Lots of things to smell. :-) She loves to go for walks.”

“Seeley Booth is doing a lot better now. His ear is almost normal now (cone free!) and he's on a second round of antibiotics just to be sure. He loves his morning walk before breakfast and always sleeps in the chair he's pictured in. :) Leash, house, and command training are all going well -- he's so smart! We love him to pieces, and the cats are mostly tolerant. ;) Thank you SO very much for the work you do at Small Chance. It's only been a few weeks, and I can't imagine life without him. :)”

“Ribbons is doing very well. We ended up renaming her Dolce (sweet) because she's been such a sweetheart. Her and Jefe have so much fun together. I'm happy to say Jefe is losing some lbs since Dolce loves chasing him around in the back yard. She loves to just sit anywhere my husband and I are. We recently purchased some outdoor furniture so lately her and Jefe have been relaxing and sprawling out on the out door loveseat while my husband and I read.”

Hi Forever Family. I am doing great! I get to go to the capitol everyday for a walk and I especially love chasing the squirrels and birds around. Other than that I spend the day laying on the couch with my dads and learning new tricks for treats. All I have to do is sit down and I get a treat - I have them totally trained :) I've also made several new friends

in my building and enjoy play dates on a regular basis. Life is GREAT!

“Cookie is doing very well and we love having her. We took her to our vet and they gave her a good bill of health. In fact, they thought Cookie might be less than 4 yrs. old.

Cookie sleeps with us every night – she is a good sleeper & snuggler. She is house-trained and we’ve had no “accidents.” Cookie and my youngest cat Chloe are good friends now. My older cat Clancy tolerates Cookie, but is getting better (they just avoid each other).”

“Just an update about a wonderful little dog, Georgia. We are having a wonderful time together. She is everything I could want in a dog.

Bobby suggested I let her sleep in her bed on the floor next to me at night. That was the best idea. She is happy there. Also I can hear her get up, so we can go outside. She was up twice the first night, after that night she and I sleep all night.

She has become playful and gets along with Libbi.”
